Cache embeddings by (chunk_hash, model_id, params_hash).

The embedding model deliberately belongs here rather than in the chunk hash. That separation is what lets one chunking pass serve multiple model migrations.

Cache import is safe only for authenticated artifacts. The trusted=True argument records explicit caller consent; it does not verify a signature.
